Useful Information for all planning to visit Pantheon

Opening hours Pantheon

  • The Basilica is open weekdays from 8.30 am to 7.30 pm (last entry 7.15 pm)
  • On Sunday from 9.00am to 6.00 pm (last entry 5.45 pm).
  • On public holidays that fall on a weekday the Basilica will stay open from 9,00 am to 1.00 pm.

Closed on: 1st January, 1st May and the 25th December.

Last admission 15 minutes before the closing time of the Pantheon

Times may vary in accordance with special religious celebrations.

How to reach us

The Pantheon is in Piazza della Rotonda, Rome.

BY UNDERGROUND

the nearest stop is Barberini (line A), about 700 metres from the Pantheon.

BY BUS

The buses n° 30, 40, 62, 64, 81, 87 and 492: get off at the Largo di Torre Argentina stop which is about 400 metres from the Pantheon.

Opening times Reception Desk of the Pantheon

The Reception Desk is inside the Pantheon to the right of the entrance, and it is open every day to receive and assist visitors, worshippers and pilgrims, at the following times:

Summer opening hours (April 16 - October 28)

  • Mon-Fri: 10 a.m.– 6 p.m. ( latest renting time for audio guides 5.15 p.m.)
  • Sat: 10 a.m. – 4.30 p.m. (latest renting time for audio guides 3.15 p.m.)
  • Sun: 12 noon – 6 p.m. (latest renting time for audio guides 5.15 p.m.)
